Alan H. Schorr
Alan H. Schorr has established his law firm, Alan H. Schorr & Associates, P.C.,
as one of the top plaintiff employment and family law firms in New Jersey.
Mr. Schorr has repeatedly achieved high value settlements and verdicts on behalf of employees who have suffered discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other work-related problems. He routinely negotiates enhanced severance packages and complex employment contract issues such as restrictive covenants and arbitration clauses. In addition, Mr. Schorr has a very high success rate in representing clients at unemployment appeals, disciplinary appeals, and other administrative hearings. Mr. Schorr has been responsible for the expansion of the law protecting the rights of persons suffering as a result of sexual harassment and discrimination, including such landmark cases as Connolly v. Burger King Corp; Quigley v. KPMG Peat Marwick, and Stomel v. Camden. Mr. Schorr has written many articles and instructional materials, which can be viewed on this web site. He is currently the Past-President of NELA-NJ (National Employment Lawyers Association), where he heads NELA-NJ’s Legislative Committee.
Mr. Schorr has represented individuals in a wide range of issues including, but not limited to, simple divorce matters, complex and difficult trials involving business valuations, complex custody issues, and relocation applications. Mr. Schorr specializes in high value marital estates including businesses, real estate, and hidden assets and income. Complex custody matters require an aggressive and compassionate advocate. The combination of education, experience, and common sense make Alan H. Schorr a consistently successful advocate in the area of family law. He is currently a Master in the Thomas A. Forkin Family Inn of Court, of which he was one of the initial members and has remained an active participant throughout its history.
Prior to establishing his law firm in 1993, Mr. Schorr owned and operated a series of successful businesses. He has attained both a Master of Business Administration and a Juris Doctor degree form Widener University. Mr. Schorr's combination of legal knowledge, extensive business experience, and his M.B.A. are invaluable when tackling complex financial matters and in settlement negotiations, where financial knowledge and negotiation skills are essential.

Meredith A. Accoo
Meredith A. Accoo is an associate with the law firm of Alan H. Schorr and Associates where her practice area focuses on employment and family law. Following law school, Ms. Accoo worked with the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas in Philadelphia as a criminal law clerk for the Honorable Sandy L.V. Byrd and later as an associate with James E. Carty, III P.C. in Piscataway, NJ.
While at Rutgers University School of Law, where she earned her J.D. in 2005, Ms. Accoo volunteered with the Domestic Violence Project and later served as a student attorney in the Domestic Violence Clinic. She also clerked for the Law Office of Michael A. Armstrong in Willingboro, NJ, was a legal coordinator with Philadelphia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts and served as a hearing officer with the Chester Housing Authority in Chester, PA.
Following law school and after graduating from the University of Maryland-College Park, Ms. Accoo worked in Washington, D.C. as a programs administrator for two non-profit arts organizations, Dance Institute of Washington and World Arts Focus, and traveled throughout the country with the Hip-Hop Theater Junction as an actress and dancer.

Erica L. Busch
Erica L. Busch is an associate of the law firm of Alan H. Schorr & Associates.
Ms. Busch received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with
a concentration in Legal Studies from Towson University.
Ms. Busch went on to receive her Juris Doctor from Rutgers University School of Law. During law school, Ms. Busch served the Camden community by volunteering her legal services at the Rutgers Civil Practice Clinic. Ms. Busch currently practices in the areas of employment and family law.

Lakshmi R. Roy
Lakshmi Roberta Roy was admitted to the bar in 1994. She went to New York
Law School, where she earned her J.D. in 1993. She graduated from Rutgers
College, Rutgers University with a dual B.A. in Political Science and Spanish,
studying one year at the University of Florence, Italy. She is fluent in
both Italian and Spanish.
Ms. Roy previously served on the New Jersy Supreme Court Committee on Minority Concerns, Burlington Vicinage. She presently volunteers extensively with the Greater Delaware Valley Chapter of the National Multiple Scherosis Society and has had MS since 1993. She provides patient services as a Patient Advocate through Shared Solutions, a patient services arm of Tevaneuroscience. Ms. Roy also volunteers her time as a National Help-line Volunteer with the Living Beyond Breast Cancer organization in Philadelphia.

Zachary Wall
Zachary R. Wall is an associate with the law firm of Alan H. Schorr and Associates where he concentrates his practice in the areas of employment and family law. Following law school, Mr. Wall served as the Law Clerk to the Honorable Gwendolyn Blue in the Superior Court Camden Vicinage for two terms. First in the Civil Trial Division, followed by a term in the Chancery Division, Family Part.
After graduating from the University of Richmond, Mr. Wall attended Temple University Beasley School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctorate in 2007. During school, Mr. Wall earned an associate level in the Rubin Public Interest Law Honor Society for his work with students in the Philadelphia School District. He also clerked for Solnick & Levin, LLC in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania. Mr. Wall also worked for the Montgomery County Public Defender’s Office.
