Jill A. Roth-Gutman is an associate of the law firm of Alan H. Schorr & Associates. Mrs. Roth-Gutman is focusing her practice in the areas of employment and family law. Following law school, Mrs. Roth-Gutman was employed by the Superior Court of New Jersey, Burlington Vicinage, where she had the privilege of serving the Honorable Michael J. Hogan, J.S.C. as a civil law clerk. Working closely with Judge Hogan and court staff gave Mrs. Roth-Gutman the opportunity to gain valuable insight into the court system and become familiar with nuances of the law.
As a law clerk and during law school, Mrs. Roth-Gutman provided mediation services in the Special Civil Part, including contract and labor disputes. Leading negotiations has helped her develop an ability to recognize common ground and foster communication.
While in law school Mrs. Roth-Gutman clerked for the Division of Law in the Office of the New Jersey Attorney General and for the Executive Bureau in the Office of the Massachusetts Attorney General.
Prior to attending law school in Boston, Mrs. Roth-Gutman interned for the National Organization for Women, worked as a researcher for the National Institute of Health, and worked as a legal assistant at Smith, Debnam, Narron, Wyche, Story and Myers, LLP.
